Freeze dried should last pretty indefinitely, as long as its kept at a constant cold temperature.

Does anyone else find it silly that they put the common name of a species on the antivenin and not the scientific name? Talk about vague... could you imagine coming into a hospital, nearly out of it, saying 'cobra bite' and passing out. So they give you 'cobra' antivenin, only to find out after you're dead that it was a king? =)
