OMG!!!!!! $700 for a hematoma?
That is outrageous!
We charge $80-$100 for anesthesia, and about $60 for the doctor's time, meds are of coarse extra.
There is an alternative to surgery if you are not worried about having a fully erect ear. They can drain it and inject it with cortisone/dexamethasone. Sometimes the procedure needs to be repeated.
Wow, I still can't get over the charge of $700.
