I love Melamine, weight is an issue for some, but I have mine on wheels and don't move them too often. I've used Melamine for over 5 years and have not had any issues. I seal all the edges and check seal periodically. I heat my enclosures with Flexwatt, humidity is managed thru humidity boxes when needed.

So far, so good.
