How long is temp? a couple of days? a week? a month? If it's just a few days, let her take a sip or two and take the water bowl out. Not every snake lives near a pond or stream in the wild. Most have to wait till it rains so they can take a slurp or two before it dries up. Ball pythons are heavily populated in the dry grasslands of Africa. They can go awhile with no water...certainly a couple of days...Even so, it would be nice to set the bowl in and see if she will take a drink every day or two till you get her hooked up with a bigger cage but take it out and give her more room to stretch out. However slight the risk is....spilled water /damp substrate is a far greater health risk than a day or so without.
