my advice is feed them well.....one week my pay cheque wasnt as high and i couldnt afford her normal meal so it was a little less and she bit me 2 or 3 times

. on a serious note.....use gloves or tongs or something to pick them up after eating, they are living breathing trash machines and wont stop eating and if they think more food is to come then they might bite.....thats if you feed them out of their cage which most do. hold them alot make sure they are used to you and whatever you do... do not interupt their meal time
