Tail rubbing rocks! That's how I get most of my nonvens back in the cage. I open the door and let them crawl in. They never go in as fast as I want them to and kind of linger half in and half out. One or two little rubs on the tail and they zip right in and I can close the door
I have a few snakes that seem to enjoy chin rubs. Most lizards also seem to like it (exception tokay geckos. They don't like anything) But I don't think the lizards really enjoy it as much as we want to think. It is widely accepted that they close their eyes so they can pretend we aren't there. If they can's see us...we must not be there....yet we tend to perceive this as them being in ecstasy.
