Mine is still a baby and a little timid when we get him out of his cage. Once he is out he relaxes a bit but still s's up once in a while. When he does this you can give him a little run down his body with the tip of your finger and he immediately relaxes.
I used to give my old RTB baths all the time when my ball got mites and I treated them both since they were in the same room. He absolutely loved it. He would almost melt and rub up against my arms. I do think that some of them just love the contact and closeness.
