John White and Myself both use Nikon D100s. There isn't really much difference in the D70 other than a few controls and features that probably only matter to professional photographers anyway. There is NO beating nikon. When I first went pro, shooting fashion and glamour in the early 90s, I had several canon 35mm SLRs. They had always been decent enough cameras for everyday use but when I found myself burning 1500-2500 frames per day of film...I quickly started wearing out shutters. I trashed a couple of nice F1s and several A1s...flopped to nikon and bought a couple of used FM2ns and not only never wore them out, I just sold them both on ebay last year for nearly twice what I paid for them. On a hunch and on reputation...and because I already have a nice Nikon AF lens collection...I went to Nikon without a glance at anyone else when I decided to go digital with my pro stuff and have been very pleased. Oh...btw...in low light...use the flash. It rocks
