betadine, never heard of that treatment. I've also read a bit of listerine added to the soak is good for killing mites. I was going to try Nix, but decided to stick with the Permethrin. I'm not too thrilled with the Reptile Relief, but it seemed to work, left a lot of dead mites on the paper towel.

I'd much rather go natural treatments when possible, but didn't have much time to research.
