Sorry to hear about your escapee, I am going through a similar problem today- but we can't begin to figure out how he got out of his cage....
Anyway some thoughts... the "heated" places are a good start, newspapers, magazines, drawers, throw rugs, plants, pillows, dog beds, under the sink, sofa, carpet seams, shoes, anything on the floor- but they can crawl up, drains (I'm a little worried about that one), A/C or heating vents, behind your computer CPU, bird cages, small animal cages, curtains, yes unfortunately we found a couple of small openings to the outside which he might have slithered through.....Since these guys are nocturnal (and he is supposed to eat tomorrow) we plan to have a "snake hunting" party tonight.
