Ok... 1 Larger prey item is better than multiple smaller ones for several reasons... Not the least of which is that the digestive process of snakes is designed to digest a meal fully before it starts on the next one. Some of the food is digested properly, and some of it just has to sit there and get all rancid. That could cause bad digestive problems either imediately or over time.
