RE: Parakeets
The cage we have now is a bigger one than we originally purchased.
We havent let them out of their new home yet, just wanted them to get used to it first.
We only let them out when they were in my daughters other room, which is why we put the small cage on the floor. After they went back in the cage went back to it's high shelf.
The new cage has been moved into the den and is roughly on a shelf that is about 5' high off the floor.
They love to sit and watch TV with my daughter, they squwak quite a bit during certain shows. And others they just chatter.
Thanks for all the info. I know that it will take time and patience for them to relax and love their new home and family.
