Parakeets....
We just recently purchased a pair of parakeets. How long does it take for them to calm down from all the excitment from being in a pet store to being in their new home? I know that they need to have the freedom to roam about every now and then. When we try to take them out they raise a ruckus like they did in the pet store. Eventually we get them out of the cage and they become calm and enjoy their time out. We put their cage onthe floor with the door open so they can find there way back. Their wings are clipped so they can not fly to high which is why we put the cage on the floor.
