Honest Jesse, I respect your op. but we feel Domino has definately overreached the limit of his viv. He's a chunky guy and at full stretch he's got 0ft between head and tip of tail when roaming and we want him to be comfortable. I wouldn't put my ha'penny worth online if I didn't believe what I wrote.
He can't escape his habitat like we can, so the bigger the space we can afford to give him then the better it should be for his mental and physical fitness. Should he live or exist?
Although we sometimes poopoo the opinions of caresheet writers, most agree that a viv length + depth should equal the length of the snake.
On his first major move, he went from a 3 to this 6ft viv. You should have seen the personality change. From a nippy guy to a happy but-naughty-on-dinner-days guy straight away.
