Yellowheads generally reach 18', the Dwarfs get around 15'. That's females.... males don't get quite as long. We have a female Yellowhead. She is very calm, we are able to handle her even when she is in blue and she doesn't strike her prey. We lay it in her enclosure and she just swallows it. She's still fairly young, not a year old yet by our estimations (she was an adoption, paid $30 to recover the rescuer's fees). She grew 8 inches within a 2 month time span, so if you get one of these be prepared for an 8 - 10' snake within the first year
