As far as feeding goes, thats a really small food item.
A 19" ball can easily take an adult mouse, or pink/fuzzy rat.


I start out baby ball pythons on hopper mice, so a fuzzy for a 19" is way too small.

As far as cleaning goes, you can use dishsoap, but make absolutely sure you rinse it out really really well. Residue from cleaners can cause irritation.

Or you can use rocal-d or one of the commercial disinfectants.
