I am like , so jealous! You've actually seen one! I wasn't even aware of one captive specimen in the US.
Oh yea. It's Azemiops feae. But i knew what you were talkin' bout. Fea's Viper, or white, headed viper, or tibetan viper. Probably one of the onl;y snakes that requires excessively cool, humid temps in order to live in captivity.
I wonder sometimes if , they infact are feeding these things too much food for their sensitive systems, considering the cooler temps they need to be kept at?
Oh well, sense you like em' so much you probably know more about than i do.
Therr was a guy in the Russian Federation who had a great deal of success breeding them......wish he had an article online!
