Inother word, i believe it safe to assume that yes, there are, and probably were, reptile mites that can and do infest snakes native to the region known as "The United States".
I kinda find it funny when people mention geographical locations as a political border, rather than a naturally existing one. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
Also, Ophionyssus sp. (snake mites), will infest lizards, andHirstielia sp. (lizard mites) will infest snakes.
