Sad but true I see kids at shows, yes kids, under 18, running around shows with burms. At $30 each, they are a cheap pet to acquire, altho certainly not cheap to feed and house. That's where the problems start. THey dont' work, or they live at home, or they have to go off to college. So they either end up dying from neglect, or being turned over to rescues. I really, really wish that minors could not buy giants, but I don't think that will ever happen
