I'd figure I'd introduce myself. My name is Karen and I live on the north side of Chicago. I got into herps as an undergrad at BGSU in Ohio, where I volunteered in the Herpetology Lab and worked in the animal facility. There I acquired my collection, which consists of a bearded dragon, African fat-tailed gecko, California kingsnake and Mexican black kingsnake. I did have a Burmese python with an unusual pattern, but I had to find him a new home because otherwise I wouldn't be able to rent an apartment.

We also live with my boyfriend's beardie, a cat, two goldfish, two gerbils, and many many snails seeing as how they can't stop mating!
