Thanks for the advice. I do have a collection of 'display' cages affixed to the walls of my lounge at easy viewing height - but there's only room for so many before the new snakes have to go in my outside snake room. Thing is, the outside room has facilities for a drainable pool etc, and I'd really like to put a big snake or two there with bathing and basking spots etc. I guess I'll just have to go with two yellows. Out here they can be got for around R200 each - around $20 because there's not much of a market for them. Reputation, you know.
