New to the site
Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself. I've been reading the forums for the last few days and decided to join. I've found a wealth of information here and everyone seems especially nice. My reason for joining is simple, I want the best for my babies and I was told this was the place to get the information in order for me to be able to provide it for my little ones. I currently have 2 Royal Pythons and Honduran Tangerine Milksnake. As of this past Friday, I also happened upon two BCI's. My sweetie and I decided to provide these two beautiful snakes with a loving home. I have little experience with large snakes unlike my partner who has owned Retic's in the past. The BCI's that we rescued are babies approx 16- 18 inches long. They were vet checked prior to us receiving them, however they were not sexed. Their setups are in 20 gallons with papertowels as substrate. Two water bowls per tanks, hides on both hot and cool sides, climbing branches. Temps on hot side are steady at 88, cool side 77-80. Humidity levels varies between 50-60%. One more thing, we are using human heating pads as our heat source. If there is anything at all that we can inprove on, please suggest it. We're here to learn. We look forward to learning as much as I can.
Thanks in advance
