While Beardies and Iguanas Do share some similar diet requirements. Thier diets should not be identicle. Iguanas are pretty much strict herbavores, and really never should eat insects and definately not rodents. Beardies are Omnivores, they CAN eat all the greens and fruits mentioned except Spinich i say if it doesn't provide them good nutrients dont feed it. Beardies LOVE insects, but insects have to be limited as beardies will quickly snub their greens for insects. Beardies as adults WILL and should occasionally eat a pinkie or fuzzy mouse. My male beardies wont really touch them, but my female is a voracious rodent eater. I wonce had a large mouse (not jumbo) that went uneaten by one of the snakes, and she was going insane over it, i gave it to her and she wolfed it down.
Beardies Do require protien in thei diet allot more than an Iggy. Iggies have many problems when fed too much protien.
So that site shouldn't be a Beardie diet bible.
