Since I have some upper body strength and an extra set of hands, I feed my 8 1/2 ft burm outside of the her enclosure. At first it was a tough transition from the feeding tote to the enclosure but now it's really nothing. Now when she gets to the double digits I may or may not change the feeding patterns but as or right now, I am sticking with the feeding outside of the enclosure. This is so because I don't want the association of feed to be there when I open the enclosure to take her out. For the retic owneres, are owning retics the same as owning a burm please let me know I am considering getting a retic.
