I dont have any written plans, but I use an old upright freezer (with all the refrigeration parts removed to reduce weight) connected to a 50w ceramic heat emitter placed at the bottom in a dome lamp, then connect it to a biostat AT or similar thermostat. Also, an indoor outdoor thermometer comes in handy on the outside to spot check. It will take a week or two to calibrate it to the proper temps.

Ive used this method for nearly 11 years, and have hatched several hundred lizard , snake , and turtle eggs in the same incubator.

Its cheap too, I put mine together for less than 60$

I used the neodesha plastic incubators, that used to run about 200$ new, and those never were that reliable.

Just goes to show you an elaborate expensive incubator is not necessarily the best choice.
