For a best first....it shouldn't be a chameleon. Chameleons are not the hardest thing to care for but have more requirments. They are not forgiving animals and even thought Vield's are the hardiest, they too have a lot for requirments. I'm not sure what you have expirence with but all chameleons take a lot of time and effort throughout all of its lifespan. Research a lot and make sure your ready and up to par before even considering obtaining a chameleon.
